Located near Apache Junction, this is a remote and low-key spot with epic mountain scenery and offers many many many saguaros! PSA: This spot is only accessible on a dirt road, 4WD is recommended!

South Mountain is located just south of Downtown Phoenix and is relatively central to all surrounding suburbs. South Mountain has lots of epic mountain ranges in the background, a lookout, minimal saguaros, and is paved. However, this spot is one of more touristy areas, so expect larger crowds!

Skyline Regional Park is located on Phoenix’s western end of the metro area off of I-10. The park is paved and is relatively quiet!

Close to ASU and right off the 10 is Papago Park, this place has incredible rock structures that really create an epic background. Notably, there are often larger populations of people here because of the nearby “Hole in the Rock” attraction.

Looking for an urban background, Downtown Phoenix is the place! Lots of variety here such as the mountainous background, roads, and buildings.
